Equestrian Winter Wedding Inspiration
There’s something extra romantic about a winter wedding. Maybe it’s the muted light, or just the idea that you can keep each other warm if necessary! We’ve always wanted to capture some of that feeling with a winter photo shoot. So we were absolutely thrilled to head down to Devine Ranch in Aptos for this equestrian themed shoot. My favorite shots are below, and I think they perfectly capture that winter feel!
I just love the way the fine lines of our Luzon chairs contrast with the twisty details of the trees. And of course, who could forget Norman the Horse. He made my day (year). Oh, and did I mention the shoot (and Norman) featured on Green Wedding Shoes in December. Click here for a peek at the full feature.
The shoot was perfectly designed by PJ from Going Lovely, and finely captured by Delbarr Moradi. The venue, Devine Ranch, is surrounded by rolling hills and has the most amazing stables!
That stunning dress is from BHLDN, and the bride’s capelet really adds to the ethereal look of these images. I’d love to do a summer shoot at the same venue, just to see the contrast created by those few months. Let’s see what this year brings…
