Grecian Wedding Inspiration
One of my favorite things about working at Pieces by Violet is the amazing photo shoots that we get to be involved with. I love collaborating with creative people, and seeing how our talents can come together to create a little bit of magic! The shoots are often long days, but also lots of fun, and the locations can be breathtaking. This is true of the shoot we had a few months ago at San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts, and I’m honored to have the pictures find their way into Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book Blog. Below are some of my thoughts and favorite shots from the day. You can check out the full feature at Style Me Pretty.
The Palace of Fine Arts was one of the first places I visited when I arrived in San Francisco five years ago, and so it was strange to find myself back here, working on such an exciting shoot. The day itself was cloudy and overcast, with a little bit of that famous San Francisco fog. Although most brides would fear this kind of weather on their wedding day, it creates the perfect lighting for these type of shots! The Rosella settee was Pieces by Violet’s star for the day, paired up with The Nicobar coffee table, and The Chickadee for a desert table.
The shoot was organized by CityGirl Weddings & Events, and captured by Ann & Kam Photography & Cinema, all of whom had flown in from Chicago. The dress is by BHLDN (love it!), hair and makeup was by Meka White, and H Julien Designs provided the amazing florals. As soon as the puppies got involved (unexpectedly), we all knew it was going to be one to remember!
Thank you everyone for such a great day! Remember to check out the full feature at Style Me Pretty.
